Ciry Sang Neuf Malbec IGPOC 75cl
Info Ciry Sang Neuf Malbec IGPOC 75cl

Sang Neuf is one of the estate's micro-cuvées. It is made from a single grape variety, Malbec, and a single plot, Combe Marie, located near the causse above the Livinière, at an altitude of 400 meters. The work in the vineyard and in the cellar is carried out in organic farming. This is the only plot in the estate that is not yet officially organic, because it is in the second year of conversion. Combe Marie is a valley with fairly deep limestone clay soil, facing south. The rows wind through the center of the valley, surrounded on either side by the scrubland. The idea of winemaking, obviously carried out completely separately, was to showcase the Malbec grape, on such a sunny terroir. The result is a very colorful, highly concentrated Malbec with aromas of kirsch cherry, cocoa, violet and blueberry. The palate is powerful and structured, while retaining great freshness due to the altitude.
