That is the motto that Leo Hillinger Junior alias JACK lives with his specially vinified white and red wine cuvées.
JACK without dad! In the glass, Red 2018 is a dark ruby red with clear, light red edges. Dark, red fruits dominate the clear, almost atypically fruity nose. On the palate it is no lightweight and comes with ripe tannins and decent pressure. Here, too, the dark fruit dominates. The core of the wine shows the gravel soil on which it grew. The moderate acidity and ripe tannins help differentiate the fruit and clearly perceive each one. The finish is carried by the moderate acidity and the ripe, round tannins. It is of good to medium length.
