Cannonau is the Sardinian name for Grenache, the famous French grape from the Rhône. However, Sardinia is also full of this grape. A medium intense ruby red bright color. A nice intensity in the nose of ripe red fruit, some wild strawberries, violets and a salty character that reminds you of the island of Sardinia. The taste is soft with supple tannins, soft acids and beautifully dosed fruit.
Gastronomy: A wine that can be perfectly combined with tasty pastas or risottos with mushrooms. Also delicious with pheasant or other light game birds or not too complex tomato dishes.
