Exceptional wine from an exceptional country. Georgia, the cradle of wine, has been making their wine in a traditional way for millennia. The vinification is done on amphorae or qvevri as they say in Georgia. This method of winemaking is also very minimal in most cases: crushing grapes, placing grapes in the qvevri, allowing fermentation to be carried out naturally, no or hardly any addition of sulphite & after the fermentation they close the amphora so that the skin remains closed for several weeks to months the wine remains, for both red and white. With this wine from the house Gotsa, the skin stayed on the wine for 10 months, giving you a pronounced but complex aroma of ripe pear, orange zest, honey, nuts, spices and so much more. Not an easy wine but oh so complex!

Gastronomy: hearty meals of both fish and meat. Be careful with sauces too much based on milk and cream.
